Artists

Tim Head is a visual artist living and working in London who has exhibited internationally for many years and worked on many public commissions; most recently “Light Up Queen Street” for the Corporation of London [2005]. He currently has an Artist’s Residency at the Structural Bioinformatics and Computational Biochemistry Unit, Department of Biochemistry, University of Oxford. Head's work whether 3D or 2D centres on the premise that there is no meaning beyond the surface - only blank spaces and shifting shadows. Since 1988 he has worked with Simon Schofield on a number of digital artworks including ‘Lucky Motors’ in collaboration with Martyn Ware.
